Professor Israel Ausin and Dr. Wang Haifeng of the Cross-strait Joint Research Institute of FAFU published a research paper titled“A One Precursor One siRNA Model for Pol IV Dependent siRNA Biogenesis” in the journal of 《Cell》 (IF=32). Dr. Wang Haifeng was the third author, while Professor Israel Ausin was the co-corresponding author of the paper.
This is the zero breakthrough of FAFU as a main research unit to publish a research paper in the international top three journals of《Cell》、《Nature》and《Science》. Meanwhile, this research achievement is one of the few papers that were published in the journal of《Cell》by the Chinese research teams in the field of Botany, indicating that FAFU has obtained significant results in the fundamental research since the carrying out of the High-level University Construction.
